Access data
Use of our home page is anonymous in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. However, information is collected by MEDICRO GmbH or the site provider automatically with each access. This information – also known as server log files – is of a general nature and does not allow for drawing any conclusions about your identity. This information is technically required so as to correctly provide your requested content from the MEDICRO website and is mandatory when using the Internet.
Among other things, the following technical data are collected: The website visited, date and time of access, data volume, the browser and operating system used, your Internet provider’s domain name, the referrer URL (the previously visited page) and the IP address.
The collected data are used only for statistical analyses by our provider, using the WordPress “WP Statistics” statistics plug-in and the “Webalizer” analysis software. Such analyses contribute to the improvement of the MEDICRO website. Transfer to third parties will not take place. We do not link such data with any other data, in particular not with personal data. The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and are then deleted. However, the website operator retains the right to subsequently review the server log files and, if necessary, to exclude them from deletion for reasons of evidence if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
Use of cookies
We use cookies to improve the user-friendliness of our home page. When accessing our website, the user is notified about the use of cookies. Cookies are text files that are sent from the website server to your PC’s Internet browser, where they are stored if this has been enabled in your browser settings. You may enable or disable the use of individual or all cookies or set your browser so you will be notified when cookies are sent. Please note that individual functions of the MEDICRO website may be affected if you have disabled the use of cookies.
Cookies contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. They do not contain any personal information, cannot enter the user’s system and also cannot cause any damage here.
SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Use of personal data
By contacting MEDICRO by e-mail or via the online form, you voluntarily consent to our use of your personal data for the purpose of contacting you. Your e-mail address is used to attribute the inquiry and the subsequent response. The provision of any further data (e.g. name or telephone number) is optional. Your provided information will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry as well as for possible follow-up questions. You can withdraw your consent to storing your personal data at any time with immediate effect in writing (e.g. by e-mail or fax). The data will be deleted once they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
Your personal data will be used for advertising/market research purposes and to design our services only if you have expressly consented to this. The data will be disclosed to third parties without your consent only if we are legally required to do so.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.
Google AdWords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you have accessed our website via an ad placed by Google, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be traced through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are provided with the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and who were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can reject cookies that are required for this – for example via browser settings that disable automatically setting cookies in general or by choosing your browser settings so that cookies from the “googleleadservices.com” domain are blocked.
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not wish measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all cookies in your browser, you must re-set the respective opt-out cookie.
Google Web Fonts
In order to display our contents correctly and in a graphically appealing way in all browsers, this website uses script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.
Retrieving script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible – albeit at this stage also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.
For the privacy policy of the library operator Google visit: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. Further information about data processing by Google is provided in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en). You may also change your personal data protection settings in their Data Protection Center.
